Description

Postcard with early color photo of Main Street West, North Bay, looking west towards the old post office. The Street is not paved, several horse-drawn carts and two automobiles on the street. The First building on right side of street has sign over awning "Crockery & Glassware"Building on left side of street, sign over door "Vaudevitte Theatre". Another store has vertical sign perpendicular to building front "ART CLOTHES" Handwritten on front is the word "Bank". On back of postcard: states that this is a Souvenir Post Card at top. The Stamp has been removed from upper right corner. The message reads: "Dear Fred: What is the matter with you anyway. Why don't you write. I suppose you are enjoying your self & Helen these fine warm days. I am not. I am getting another move soon. Give my regards to Helen and write soon. Chas."The Addressee is: Mr. Fred Shea, 83 Welland Ave., St Catharine's, Ont.
