Description
Postcard with B&W photo of Front St. (now Oak St.), North Bay focused on Queen`s Hotel, corner of Fraser and Front St. (now Oak), current location of CIBC. Hotel features lavish ornate wooden gingerbread trim, typical of Victorian tastes, on balconies overlooking the CPR.
Built about 1888, most of the hotel burned in 1930s.
Street is not paved; several pedestrians walking on sidewalk. No vehicles visible.
