Description
Postcard with color photo of memorial park and War Memorial monument which was unveiled in Sept 1922. At that time, the monument was the largest cast in bronze in all of Canada.
The monument, which features a Canadian soldier with his head bowed and a wreath in his right hand, measured 26'6" from base to top.
Photo shows paved walkway leading to monument, small cannon on each side of the monument, and several houses with red roofs in background
