Donor's father, Ken Roy started at the CPR in North Bay in 1950-51 as a fireman shovelling coal into the fire box of steam engines. When the CPR went to diesel engines, Roy was grandfathered to Engineer and finished his career as such. He worked out of North Bay all over the CPR district.
