Description
There is a variety of postcards in this collection. 4c is a brown postcard with an image of an old fashioned dressed woman lounging on a couch. The woman is sitting in a brightly coloured living room. The postcard is blue, pink and green. At the bottom on the postcard in black ink is the
words "I'll be waiting for you." 4b is a blue/green postcard. There is an inscription on the card that says "Be my pet." The 'pet' part is written in purple flowers. There appears to be a black and gold item in the background that the text is written over. 4a is a postcard of a portrait of a little child posing. The child has a little white dress on surrounded by flowers, and had flowers in their hair.4d is a portrait of Canadian women hockey's team. The image is of a group of women in the winter time wearing sweaters, and long skirts playing hockey at a rink. In the background there are buildings around the women. 4i is a red, white and green christmas card. The card has a boarder of holly. The middle of the card has a small square with a little winter wonderland scene on the inside of the square. The square is sat on a piece of holly. 4e is a red, green and white Christmas card. There is an image of bird on the card.
All the back of the back of the postcards have yellowed from age. There is black ink handwriting on the backs. Two also have stamps attached. The other two do not have stamps.
