026.06.02.a: A simple, black box with a hinged lid used to hold camera lenses. The exterior of the box is textured leather with a silver latch on the front. The interior of the box is lined with a deep purple velvet, with one slot on the left to hold a large lens and five on the right to hold smaller lenses.
026.06.02.b: An extended lens with multiple rings of black and brass metal. The lens has a diameter of 4.5cm and is 5.5cm long. The central brass ring is engraved with a lowercase cursive "f", followed by a sequence of evenly-spaced tick marks labeled 1-7. Individual lenses can be screwed in to each end to the extended lens. A convex lens engraved with "5 7/8" is attached to the flared end and a convex lens engraved with "9 7/8" is attached to the straight end.
