Coloured postcard of the 'Steam Train Special' taken and distributed by William R. Forder. The image is of a black ONR train moving through a picturesque grassland area. Plants and trees can be seen on both sides of the tracks.
Printed on the postcard is 'the sound of steam is heard once more in the misty Autumn air of Northern Ontario as the Ontario Northland Railway's old steam train (#137) takes a special excursion run out of North Bay for Temagami and points north.'
Ernie Moulder was driving the locomotive for the occasion (information from Cliff Moulder).
