ثوب من منطقة رام الله، من القماش الرومي الأسود، مطرز بخيوط حرير يغلب عليها اللون الأحمر بقطبة الصليب الفلاحية. قبّة الثوب مُطرزة بشكل كثيف بأشكال هندسية ونباتية يغلب عليها اللون الأحمر، أما الأكتاف والردهة الخلفية فلا تحمل أي تطريز. وصُنعت الأكمام المردنة من قماش مختلف عن قماش الثوب وهو القطن والكتان باللون الكحلي، ويوجد على الردان قطعة قماش ملونة. يظهر تطريز كثيف على البدن الأمامي والخلفي من عرقين متوازيين على كل جهة من الثوب مطرزين بأشكال هندسية ونباتية ومناجل المُطرزة في منتصف كل عرق. ويحمل أسفل البدن الخلفي تطريز بأشكال نباتية كالورد والريش، أما البنايق فطُرّزت بالمناجل الملونة.
A black Rumi thobe (Roman dress) from Ramallah. It is made of linen and embroidered with primarily red silk threads using a Fallahi (peasant) cross stitch. The chest panel has a heavy tatreez (embroidery) of geometric and plant shapes. As for the shoulders and the back of the chest panel (the upper back neckline), they bear no tatreez. The sleeves are mradan (long triangular sleeves) and made of navy linen and cotton fabric, and a piece of colorful cloth is sewn into the radan. The front and back panels of the thobe have a heavy tatreez of two parallel stitch patterns (two on each side) of geometric and plant shapes centered by manajil (sickles) motifs. The bottom of the back panel is embroidered with plant shapes like roses and feather motifs. Additionally, the sides (al-Banayiq) have a tatreez of colorful manajil motifs.Made/Created
