ثوب من منطقة صرفند قضاء مدينة الرملة، من قماش الكتان سكريّ اللون، مطرز بخيوط حرير يغلب عليها اللون الأزرق والأحمر النبيذي. قبة الثوب مُطرزة بعدة اشكال نباتية متعددة الألوان كالورود يغلب عليها اللون الازرق النيلي، ويحمل عنق القبة تطريز بعرق المناجل، أما الأكتاف فلا تحمل أي تطريز، بينما يظهر تطريز على شكل شجرتين ومثلث على الردهة الخلفية.
،وطُرّزت الأكمام بعرق الورد، أما إسورة الكم فطُرّزت على شكل أشجار صغيرة متعددة الألوان
ويظهرعلى البدن الأمامي والخلفي للثوب تطريز من عرقين متوازيين مُطرّزين بعرق الدوالي وأشكال حيوانية تشبه البط، كما يظهر تطريز من الأشكال النباتية والحيوانية كالطيور أسفل البدن الخلفي، أما البنايق فمُطرزة بعروق ثنائية يعلوها مثلث وثلاث سنابل.
تم ترميم هذا الثوب ومُرفق بالأسفل بيانات الترميم.
A dress (thobe) from the area of Sarafand, Ramla District. It is made of off-white linen and embroidered with primarily blue and maroon silk threads. The chest panel of the thobe is embroidered with multi-colored plant shapes as roses mostly in indigo blue, while its collar is embroidered with manajil (sickles) motifs. As for the shoulders, there is no embroidery, whereas embroidery in the shapes of two trees and a triangle appears on the back of the chest panel (the upper back neckline). The sleeves are embroidered with rose motif, while the cuffs are embroidered with multi-colored mini trees motif. The front and back panels of the thobe from the bottom of the waist are embroidered with two parallel stitch patterns of Dawali ‘’grape vines” motif and duck-like animal shapes, and an embroidery of plant and animal shapes, such as birds, can be seen at the bottom of the back panel. As for the sides (al-Banayiq), they are embroidered with paired stitch patterns with a triangle shape and three spikes on top.Made/Created
