ثوب من منطقة صرفند قضاء الرملة، من قماش الكتان سكري اللون، مُطرز بخيوط حرير يغلب عليها اللون الأحمر. قبّة الثوب مُطرّزة بشكل كثيف بأشكال نباتية يغلب عليها اللون الأحمر والنيلي، أما الأكتاف فلا تحمل أي تطريز، بينما طُرّزت الردهة الخلفية بأشكال نباتية كالورد. وطُرّزت الأكمام بعرق من الأشكال النباتية، أما إسورة الكم فطُرّزت بعرق الورد والأشكال الحيوانية التي تشبه البط. ويظهر تطريز خفيف من عرقين متوازيين على البدن الأمامي للثوب مُطرّزين بالأشكال النباتية، بينما يظهر على البدن الخلفي للثوب تطريز متوسط الكثافة من عرقين متوازيين مُطرّزين بأشكال نباتية ويتوسطهم تطريز من عرق الجبال والسرو، أما البنايق فمُطرّزة بعروق عريضة من الأشكال النباتية كالورق والأشكال الحيوانية التي تشبه البط

A dress (thobe) from the area of Sarafand, Ramla district. It is made of off-white linen and embroidered with primarily red silk threads. The chest panel of the thobe is adorned with heavy tatreez (embroidery) made up of plant shapes that are dominated by red and indigo colors. As for the shoulders, there is no embroidery, while an embroidery of plant shapes as roses appears on the back of the chest panel (the upper back neckline). The sleeves are embroidered with a stitch pattern of plant shapes, while the cuffs are embroidered with rose motif and duck-like animal shapes. The front panel of the thobe from the bottom of the waist is embroidered with two parallel light stitch patterns of plant shapes, whereas the back panel, it’s embroidered with two parallel mid-density stitch patterns of plant shapes with mountain and cypress motifs in the center. As for the sides (al-Banayiq), they are embroidered with thick stitch patterns if plant shapes as leaves and duck-like animal shapes.Made/Created
