A black-and-white photograph taken by the photographer Felix Bonfils in the second half of the nineteenth century, showing a detailed interior view of the Qibli Mosque, located in Al-Aqsa Mosque yard in Jerusalem. The image includes the main hall with its vaulted ceilings, stone arches and columns, as well as the mihrab -prayer niche indicating the qibla- and the carved wooden minbar, and highlights the large chandelier and the decorated walls and ceilings.Made/Created
