A black-and-white photograph taken by the photographer Felix Bonfils in the second half of the nineteenth century, showing the entrance of the Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem. The view includes two rows of massive limestone columns, dense clusters of oil lamps suspended from the wooden ceiling, and the finely hand-carved iconostasis, whose façade is made of finely hand-carved wood.
