.ثوب من قرية صرفند قضاء مدينة الرملة، من قماش الكتان سكري اللون، مُطرّز بخيوط حرير يغلب عليها اللون الخمري
قبة الثوب مُطرّزة بأشكال نباتية كعرق الورد والمناجل التي تحيط القبة، أما الأكتاف فلا تحمل أي تطريز، بينما تحمل الردهة الخلفية تطريز بأشكال نباتية كالشجر. وطُرّزت الأكمام بأشكال نباتية كعرق الورد، أما إسورة الكم فطُرّزت بأشكال نباتية مختلفة. يظهر تطريز خفيف من عرقين متوازيين على البدن الأمامي والخلفي للثوب مُطرّزين بعرق الدوالي، كما يظهر تطريز بعرق الطير والورد أسفل البدن الخلفي، أما البنايق فطُرّزت بعرق من الأشكال النباتية على كل جانب يعلوه مثلث وثلاث سنابل
A thobe (dress) from the area of Sarafand, Ramla. It is made of off-white linen and embroidered with primarily burgundy silk threads. The chest panel of the thobe is adorned with heavy tatreez (embroidery) made up of plant shapes like rose motifs and a tatreez of manajil (sickles) motifs on the collar. As for the shoulders, they bear no tatreez, whereas the back of the chest panel (the upper back neckline) is embroidered with plant shapes like leaves. The sleeves are embroidered with plant shapes like roses, while the cuffs are embroidered with a variety of plant shapes. The front and back panels of the thobe have a light tatreez of two parallel stitch patterns of Dawali “grape vines” motifs. Moreover, the bottom of the back panel is embroidered with bird and rose motifs. The sides (al-Banayiq) are embroidered with a stitch pattern of plant shapes topped with a triangular pattern and three sanabel (spikes).Made/Created
