ثوب من منطقة رام الله وبعض قراها كجفنا ودير دبوان، من القماش الرومي الأسود، مُطرّز بخيوط حرير يغلب عليها اللون الأحمر بقطبة الصليب الفلاحية. قبة الثوب مُطرّزة بشكل كثيف بأشكال هندسية ونباتية يغلب عليها اللون الأحمر، ويوجد قطعة قماش باللون الأبيض والأسود على عنق القبة، بالإضافة إلى زر، أما الأكتاف والردهة الخلفية فلا تحمل أي تطريز. وطُرّزت الأكمام بقطبة التحريرة بخيوط الحرير والقصب المُذّهب على شكل الساعة على قماش حرير هرمزي باللون البرتقالي والبنفسجي رُكّب على الكم. يظهر تطريز من عروق نباتية وحيوانية محاطة بعرق الريش على بدن الثوب الأمامي والخلفي. ويظهر أسفل البدن الخلفي تطريز بعرق السبل والقمح وأشكال حيوانية وهندسية. أما البنايق فمُطرّزة بالمناجل.
A black Rumi thobe (Roman dress) from Ramallah and its villages (Jifna and Deir Dibwan). It is made of linen and embroidered with primarily red silk threads with a Fallahi (peasant) cross stitch. The chest panel is heavily embroidered with plant and geometric dominated by red silk threads, and a piece of black and white cloth is sewn into the collar along with a button. As for the shoulders and the back panel of the chest (the upper back neckline), they bear no tatreez (embroidery). The sleeves are embroidered with watch motifs made of gilded qasab and stitch patterns of manajil motifs, whereas the cuffs are embroidered with geometric shapes made of gilded qasab and silk threads using a Tahriri (couching) stitch. Part of the sleeves is made of purple and orange silk (heremzi). The front and back panel of the thobe have a tatreez of stitch patterns of plant and animal shapes framed by feather motifs. Moreover, the bottom of the back panel is embroidered with spike and wheat motifs along with animal and geometric shapes. The sides (al-Banayiq) are embroidered with manajil motifs.Made/Created
