Levinthal depicted large purple flowers (possibly hydrangeas) on green stems on the left side of the image. The weight of the flowers causes them to slump over. A white cup with a pink interior and an inscribed flower pattern on the outside sits on a surface composed of many mottled shades of purple, blue and pink.
