Reiterweg

Entry/Object ID

122.D.YPR.0016

Description

This work strongly resembles the painting Der Blau Reiter, in composition and forms. Recreated in black, Kandinsky uses some of the same forms and subjects, such as the line of horses and the vertical projections on the left. The procession walks along the "rider's path," the title of the print.
