Description

From the 1938 publication of Klange, this work follows the theme of Der Blaue Reiter with two prominent figures on horseback below two trees. The front rider sits on a light colored, spotted horse partially covered with a yellow blanket. The rider on the rear horse sits on a blue blanket. Both are shown against a red ground with a white erose circle in the center. The tree on the right has a large green top. The tree in the center of the image has blossoms on spindly branches.The first edition of 300 prints of Klange was released in 1913. The second edition of 1200 was published in 1938.
