In black and white, the artist depicted a rural landscape with a field of waving lines in the foreground and farm buildings in the background on the horizon. Stretching across the sky (starting in the lower left corner and reaching the upper right one) the artist added a second "horizon" line that is completely covered with buildings. The angular line is held in place with a swirling cyclone that reaches from the ground three-quarters up the angular line.
