An early 1900s street scene in Idaho Falls, Idaho, identified in old handwriting on the back of the photograph. Two horse-drawn wagons make their way through a commercial district while people stand along the street and sidewalks. The men driving the wagons appear to be wearing uniforms of some sort. One wagon carries a large metal tank or piece of machinery, possibly fire or other municipal equipment.
A partially obscured rooftop sign at left reads “Cottage,” while a sign farther down the street includes the clearly visible words “Lunch Counter.” The dirt street, commercial buildings, clothing, and horse-drawn equipment suggest a date in the first decade or so of the twentieth century.Made/Created
