The boy is looking at the drum and has his right hand on his hip. Framed photos of the Chicago Staff Band hang on the wall behind them. A white border surrounds the photo. There are several red editing marks on the border. A version of this photo was used for the cover of The War Cry, Nov 6, 1948, Issue 1454.
