The brick building has a front section that protrudes forward of two side sections and the brick is laid in a decorative pattern. Three tall arches across the front section hold the entry way, the first floor windows, and second floor windows.
The Salvation Army purchased the property in 1943 for $23,000. It was the former Joppa Temple, owned by the Masons.Acquisition
