Picture postcard of the Chicago Staff Band. The image depicts a group of men, each dressed in a Salvation Army uniform and holding a brass instrument, seated and standing. A man holding the large drum is sitting on the left side and a small drum is on the right side. The following text is printed in white just under the men: "Stevens Schiller Bldg Chicago" on the left and on the right, "Columbian Eng. Co. Chi.".
The back of the postcard has a handwritten inscription "This is the band we had at our hall last Thursday evening". The back has a thin dark line splitting the address and correspondence sections and the word "POST CARD" printed near the top edge.Acquisition
