Black and white photograph of the "Fort" of Nogent-l'Abbesse in North Reims, France. The photograph shows a stone structure built into a hill/mound. It is partially destroyed, with a large chunk destroyed in the middle. The photograph shows rubble all around. The "fort"was occupied by German soldiers for 4 years during WWI and was damaged by French artillery in 1918. The photograph was taken in in October of 1918.
