Black and white cabinet card photograph of a woman, likely Minnie's Mother, Alteria "Allie" M. Saunders (Prosser). Portrait photograph (chest up) with woman looking slightly to her left, away from the camera. Her hair is pulled back and she wears what looks like a pearls hair clip and necklace. Her blouse has a leaf pattern on it and has puffed sleeves. There is some kind of white flower or bow detail at the neckline. Written diagonally in pen in the lower right corner of the photograph is "Allie." Below the photograph, printed in gold script, is: "Brands Studio" with a design/logo in between (most of it is missing). Reverse side: At the top, written in a black ink script is "To my Loved Daughter/ -Minnie-". At the center (vertically), printed in faded black: "Brand/ 210 & 212 WABASH AVENUE/ Portraits,/ Established 1858. Chicago/ This Negative is carefully preserved for future orders./ Duplicates furnished at any time."
