Scope and Content

Annual report for the Newton, KS Corp, 1972. The cover has a photo of a young child, set into an oval shape and with a Red Shield logo on the lower right. The title, year and location are printed below. The report opens with a letter from the corps officer, Lt. James Birney. Pages 3-4 contains the income and expense reports and the statitistics of service to others. Page 5 is a report on the Christmas / Red Kettle campaign and page 6 is a request for support of Salvation Army services. The back cover contains a quote from William Booth.
