Scope and Content

Certificate documenting that Floyd Burdick was recognized as an Elder in the Pentecostal church on November 6, 1910. White/Cream paper with printed black text and a black leaf border. Towards the lower lefthand corner is a circular, gold foil seal with the raised text "THE PENTECOTAL CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE/ UNION EFFECTED/ OCTOBER 16, 1807/ CHICAGO, ILL." The certificate begins with "KNOW THAT ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS," centered at the top in large, bold text. The certificate's blank spaces are filled out by hand using dark ink.
