Scope and Content

Marriage certificate of Calvin A. Pro[s]ser and Pemanthan M. Armsbury, dated July 30, 1843. The couple is Alteria M. Prosser Saunders Bryan's parents and Minnie Burdick's grandparents. Cream/ecru paper with black printed text and image. The image at the top is of a minister marrying a couple. The certificate begins "THIS IS TO CERTIFY" in large script, centered. The form's blank spaces are filled out in blue ink. Handwritten note in black ink at the bottom reads, 'Father and Mother of their only child Alteria M. Prosser - (Saunders Bryant)."
