Scope and Content

Marriage certificate of Duty J. Saunders and Allie M. Prosser, state of Wisconsin, dated December 31st, 1862. Duty J. Saunders and Altrine/Alteria Melissa "Allie/Ally" (Saunders Bryant) are Minnie "Ma" Burdick's mother and father. Light blue paper with black printed text and image. The image at the top is of a minister marrying a couple. The border is made up of a dark line with a spiral design around it and ornate corners with flora/leaf designs a floral fleur-de-lis-like motif. Centered at the top is the title "Certificate of Marriage." The form's blank spaces are filled out in dark ink.
