Scope and Content

Marriage certificate of Archie Glen Goodwin and Cecil May Burdick, state of Texas, dated April 25th, 1922. Cecil is the daughter of Floyd and Minnie Burdick. Cream/ecru paper with black printed text and border. The border has three lines with vine/leaf motifs in the corners. Printed centered at the top, each line in a different typeface, is "CERTIFICATE OF MARRIAGE/ THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT/ I HAVE THIS DAY JOINED IN/ MARRAIGE". The form's blank spaces are filled out in dark/sepia ink.
