Grace Burdick's diary from her time in officer training, which started in January of 1908, when she was age 23. She entered the Woman's Training College in Chicago. Grace wrote about her thoughts, hopes and prayers during her time at training, in addition to writing about a boy she left behind and drawing sketches throughout the pages of the diary.
