Scope and Content

Black, white, and blue achievement certificate card for Dr. Beverly Peterson's first Silver Palm award. The front of the card in the top left has a graphic design image of a lead and the top right has the Girl Guards logo. The front of the card reads, "The Salvation Army Girl Guards, Founder's Guard Beverly Baker of Troop Np. 59 in Salina, Kansas has qualified for and is issued the First Silver Palm on November 4, 1976." The front of the card is signed by Territorial Guard Director, Mrs Major Davis, and the Territorial Youth Secretary Harry J. Smith. The back of the card is signed by the Divisional Gaurd Director Evangeline Collins.
