White dress, used for a Black Arrow costume. It features fringe along the cuffs, hem, and bodice with white leather laces in the center of the bodice. A matching bib covers the bodice, also with the white leather laces. The bib has circular beaded medallions with a star detail, surrounded by red, blue, and yellow fluffy feathers. Below that, on either side, are square beaded medallions with a thunderbird design. The back of the bib has a large circular beaded medallion surrounded by fluffy feathers that mirrors the front medallions. The cuffs of the dress display embroidered floral and geometric patterns. Triangular felt patches with motifs are sewn above the hemline on the front and back. Jingle bells are attached to the cuffs and along the hemline.
The dress, worn by an unidentified woman, signifies that wearer was in a leadership position in The Black Arrow program.Acquisition
