"1986
On the occasion of the first visit of General Eva Burrows to the USA, after becoming General, we arranged for her ot meet with President Ronald Regan. The National Commander, Commissioner Norman S. Marshall, and the Territorial Commander of the Southern Territory, Commissioner Andrew S. Miller, accompanied her for the visit - along with Colonel Ernest A. Miller, who was then National Representative for The Salvation Army in the nation's capital.
"Several photos were taken. The one of which the General was most please was the photo of all the group bowned in prayer. That photo was given a place of honor in the General's office in London for all of the rest of her tenure as General.
