There is an embossed "N" in the upper lefthand corner of the cover page, which is seen when folded. Floyed is wearing his Salvation Army uniform. He is wearing glasses and has a mustache. Printed on paper taped below the picture, under the center frame, is "FLOYD ORLIE BURDICK/ DIED: 12 Nov. 1946/ My grandfather on my mother's side/ Jean Yates".
