Description

Black Arrow war bonnet. The headdress is comprised of white feathers, black at the tips, and fluffy white feathers around the crown, bundled into green felt rolls with no apparent stitching. A tan felt cap forms the base for the headdress. A red feather and a yellow feather are inserted between the white feathers. A headband, with white beads as the background wraps around the forehead. Stepped triangles, done in dark blue / red / yellow / black / green are the design on the headband, punctuated by orange and yellow horizontal elements. A circular beaded medallion, green background with a white star with red accents, are over each ear. Rabbit fur streamers extend from the medallions towards the shoulder.
