Sent from France. 2 sheets of paper, written on both front and back sides in blue ink, so the letter is 4 pages total. White/ecru Salvation Army stationery with a blue, red, and yellow logo at the top (Salvation Army and American flag with text "THE SALVATION ARMY/ HOSTELS/ REST ROOMS"). Below the logo, printed in navy blue is the heading "ON ACTIVE SERVICE/ WITH THE U.S. A. FORCES." Printed in navy blue along the bottom is the text "ECONOMIZE--WRITE ON BOTH SIDES".
