Description
Cocktail napkin from an Officer's dinner that took place on Mar 22, 1918, most likely in France (Anville?). White/cream cloth or paper cut in a square, but folded three times into a triangle. Blue and red printed floral/leaf border along the outer edges. Handwritten in black/sepia ink on the napkin is: "OFFICERS DINNER/ MAR. 22, 18/ ANEIVILLE" (likely meant to be Anville?)
This is likely a momento kept by one of the Burdick family members from an Officer's dinner that was held in Anville, France for Salvation Army War Service Workers that were serving in France during World War I.
