Photo of the building used both for the Detroit (Citadel), MI Corps and for the Eastern Michigan Division Headquarters. The four (plus) story brick building has a crenellated parapet around the roof and a turret protruding from one corner. A large Salvation Army crest can be seen under the tower, over a corner entrance. A business sign for shoe repairs and sales wraps around the corner of the building just under the crest. Several men can be seen standing on the sidewalk near the building. A sign, announcing Salvation Army, is hung over the doorway of another entrance. A large stained glass window can be seen above and next to the sign, which probably denotes the entrance to the Citadel.Acquisition
