Photo of Black Arrow members in a field at night, On the back is written in ink by Joyce Winters, "Army Lake Scout & Guard Encampment, Council Ring, July 10, 1948 Colonel Grinsted being presented with an Indian War Bonnet by the Chief, Adj. Kautz. The Colonel had just been given three emblems from our Camp-the oak leaves, designated the Sturdy Oak Chapter, a bottle of water, and a small bottle of ashes. This was the Colonel's official initiation into the Black Arrow. His Indian name means "Music-maker. Left to right: Bill Miller, Mrs. Dal leader, Brig. Leader, Colonel Hicks, Hick's grandson, David, Major W. B. Parsons, Colonel E. Grinsted, Adj William Kautz, (Mrs. Kautz looking on)"
