Metal and enamel pin, created for the 2002 Winter Olympics held at Salt Lake City, Utah. The pin has the five interlocking Olympic rings in color (Blue / Yellow / Black / Green / Red) over a red and white checkerboard pattern, which is the national symbol of Croatia, known as the Šahovnica (pronounced shah-HOV-nee-tsah). This is a pin badge for the Croatian Olympic Committee (Hrvatski olimpijski odbor - HOO) which organizes the representatives from Croatia at the Olympic Games.
