Description

Dramatic Order of the Knights of Khorassan (D.O.K.K.) membership pin. Metal (brass?) with enamel. Brass relief of a tiger or panther's face, roaring. The animal has inlaid emerald-green eyes (glass?). Along the lefthand side of the pin are two crescent moons, overlapping. The backmost crescent moon is plain brass and the frontmost crescent moon is inlaid with yellow enamel. It has three brass-colored stars going vertically down the crescent moon, with the star in the middle slightly larger than the other two stars. Metal hardward attached to back. The Dramatic Order of the Knights of Khorassan, or Dokeys, are a side degree of the Knights of Pythias, which is a fraternal organzation and secret society. DOKK was founded in 1894.
