United States Army Calvary insignia pin. The United States Cavalry was the designation of the mounted force of the United States Army from the late 18th to the early 20th century. Brass and possibly silver. Design is the United States Calvary "Crossed Sabers" below and the letters "U.S" (in silver) on top of the sabers, at their crossing point. Pin hardware is attached to back. Attached to a United States Calvary card mount (201611.76) with another United States Calvary pin (2016.11.74).
