a - wooden box

c - stamp
East Asian seal, or chop mark, belonging to Cecil Goodwin (Burdick). The seal is rectangular, made of a white/tan-colored stone. The stamp plate is square with a carved relief of four chop mark symbols. The stamp handle ends in a decorative three-dimensionally carved dragon.
The seal is stored in a rectangular, dark wooden box, with a square section of red paste ink. The box has a slide-on lid, the top of which is engraved with the name "CECIL GOODWIN".
This is a travel souvenir owned by Cecil Burdick. It's exact origin is unknown, though likely China, as the characters are from the Chinese seal script. It is unknown whether it is a souvenir acquired from Cecil's own travels or whether it was given to her as a giftAcquisition
