Description

Decorative plate, resembles pewter but is actually an aluminum based alloy designed to look like traditional pewter. The plate has Sharing Is Caring debossed around the top edge and Christmas 1996 around the lower edge. The depressed center has an embossed illustration showing a Salvation Army red kettle stand with a bell ringer and musicians, a dog, and a woman with children donating to the kettle. A cat sits near the woman's skirts. Behind the group is a storefront window decorated for Christmas and text above it reads Peoria Dry Goods. A Christmas wreath is decorating a nearby lamp post.
