Scope and Content

Song booklet titled "The Aycock Special", compiled and edited by Jarrette and Dell Aycock and published by Lillenas Pub. Co., Inc. (27 N. Bradley St., Indianapolis, Ind.). Owned by Floyd O. Burdick. The front and back cover is a grey marbled (both color and texture) cardstock paper. The title is printed on the front cover in black ink, with two classical column motifs, one vertical and to the left of the title and the other horizontally above the title. On the back cover, printed in black ink, is the publisher's logo: a harp with the letters "LP" and "CO." printed across the strings. Written in black ink at the top of the title page is "F.O. Burdick". Printed on teh same page are the prices for the booklet: "Prices, Per Copy, 35c/ Three Copies, $1.00/ One Dozen Copies, $3.00, Postpaid". The inside pages have music and lyrics for 13 hymns and lyrics for 4 hymns, written and composed by various artists.
