Photo of the Eventide Home at 2643 Park Avenue, Detroit, Michigan. The building was formerly the Park Avenue Hotel, as seen by the signs on the marquee over the entrance and on the far corner of the building. Cars and a truck are parked on the street. The hotel was built in 1924 as a steel frame, clad with limestone and brick and terra cotta adornments, in the Renaissance Revival style. The building was operated by The Salvation Army as a residence for senior citizens until the 1980s when they used it for a shelter and Harbor Light. The hotel was demolished in 2015.Acquisition
