Description

Color transparency (photographic slide) of fishing boats in Lake Victoria at Kisumu, Kenya. The vessels resemble long canoes with masts and canvas sails. The boat in the foreground is painted white with yellow and blue stripes. Three men are on this ship and a woman is standing in the shallow water talking to them. Wood crates on the boat appear to be holding nets for fishing.
