Description

This is a photo of the League of Mercy visitation with Mrs. Greenleaf's Corps officers at Oskaloosa, IA Corp. There are four women and two men gathered under a framed picture of WIlliam Booth. The woman on the left and the man on the right are wearing Salvation Army uniforms. There is an older man on the left who is using crutches and has one leg. His denim pants are cuffed and the left pants leg (the missing limb) is folded upward from the knee towards the hip. The three older women in the middle of the group are carrying: a woman in a dark coat is carrying papers; the woman in the middle also in a dark coat is carrying a wood basket; and the woman in the red coat is carrying papers. The man on the end, in a Salvation Army uniform, is carrying a basket. The slide is marked "10A" in pen.
