Postcard. The card is two sided, white cardstock, published by The Salvation Army. The first side is reserved for the address and has a red printed US postage worth 2¢ with an illustration of Thomas Jefferson. The other side has printed information with dotted lines for the sender to fill in. A Salvation Army Red Shield logo is in the upper left corner and to the right is text "Port of New York, U.S.A. with "Date" and a dotted line to fill in the date. Below that, in a large font, is "ARRIVED SAFELY TO-DAY!", under that in a smaller font "Going to" followed by a dotted line; then under that is "Will Write Letter Soon" and then another dotted line. This postcard is dated April 15, 1919, with the sender going to Camp Mills, and signed by Rvt. Ross Mansir. The postcard is addressed to Mrs. J.W. Mansir, Kearney, Nebr, U.S.A.
