1920 – G CHURCH BEHIND THE UNITED WAR WORK CAMPAIGN Original rare poster stating “This church is behind the United War Work Campaign. For the boys over there.” A 1918 - 1920 post-war stewardship aided by support from the local church for soldiers back into the workforce program. During the primarily agricultural era of the early 1900's, the United States government was asking alot of families to spare a son or two to join the war effort overseas, and to financially support the United States interests in the war. Without the encouragement of local churches, The United States would never have recruited enough soldiers and gathered enough support for the soldiers and future relief efforts postwar. This is an original war poster from that 1914 - 1920 era. Image size is 18 ¾ inches by 24 ¾ inches. Manifest Record: 231273084753Collection
